While Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems represents one of the most dynamic growth on the renewable energy market, the many uncertainties and necessary assumptions related to their design make ensuring the long-term performance and optimal return on investment of those systems still challenging.

Combining an innovative approach with a practical engineering methodology, GeoBrain is the first worldwide Machine Learning–based prediction tool developed to tackle the lifetime management of geothermal installations. Employed as a decision support tool during the operation of the energy system, it characterises specifically the present and future behaviour of the geothermal resource and allows its adjustment to match optimally with the availability on the long-term, ensuring a cost-efficient and sustainable operation.

Integrating advanced engineering and data science skills, this tool offers the first worldwide solution for sustainable and reliable geothermal systems.
